Interim:
“Walking together through loss” We are a church-based group but there is no expectation of any affiliation or belief
Interim is a group for people who have been recently bereaved. We are for that “in-between” time, that time between familiarity of life shared with another, and readiness to take up a different life, alone. This is a time change, of maybe the most difficult adjustment of your life.
Interim meet on the second and forth Thursday’s of each month between 10.30am – 12 noon at the Broadwater Parish Centre, 117 Broadwater Road, Worthing, BN14 8HT. Please contact 01903 823916 or email to office@broadwaterparish.com

St Barnabas:
The bereavement service, part of the family support we offer, is available to any relative or friend of a patient who has died under the care of St Barnabas House, whether in the hospice or in the community.
We also offer support to those who have been referred to us by another hospice.

St Barnabas Early Bereavement Group
This monthly group offers support to family and friends in the first nine months after bereavement. It is an opportunity to meet other newly-bereaved people, to share thoughts and feelings with others in similar circumstances.
Samaritans:
The Samaritans is here for those who need someone to talk to, they are there ready to talk about anything that worries or upsets you.
There is a new FREE of charge phone line: 116 1232 (or local call rate on 01903 205555)
There is also a face to face Samaritan service available at St Lawrence Surgery, every other Thursday afternoon. Please contact the surgery on 01903 222900 and book a session.

Cruse Bereavement Care:
Cruse Bereavement Care is there to support you after the death of someone close.
National Helpline: 0844 477 9400 (call cost up to 7p per minute plus your telephone provider’s access charge) The helpline is open Monday – Friday 9.30am-5pm (excluding bank holidays) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings are extended to 8pm.
