What does it do?

St Lawrence Surgery has introduced Heidi Scribe as a helpful tool that allows your clinician to focus entirely on you during your visit, while helping them to write patient consultations, referrals and general clinical notes.

Do I have to give consent?

All clinicians will obtain your consent before using Heidi.

You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Who has access to my medical information?

Only your clinician and authorised surgery staff will have access to sensitive information. Heidi Health employ robust and strict access controls. They are GDPR and NHS compliant and their information management systems are also ISO27001 accredited for data security.

Do you store recordings of my appointment?

Conversations are transcribed simultaneously while they happen, meaning no recordings are ever stored. The clinician will summarise and approve the notes saved from the appointment and will add them to your Electronic Health Record.
